I bring you this beautiful family who I’ve grown to LOVE and adore over the years. I’m just going to let the pictures do the talking here, but all the heart eyes for these four humans.
Grace & Liv & Mama | Massachusetts Photographer | Motherhood Session
This beautiful mama who is also a fellow photographer with SO much talent reached out for a motherhood session just two months after her second baby girl was born. I was so excited to meet her and her girls and completely smitten by all their adorableness. Best news? We shoot again in September, with dad, too... and I am so excited to spend some more time with them. For now though, she's got a whole bunch of photographs to print of just herself and her beautiful babies. I can't think of anything better to treat yourself to <3
Carson | Motherhood Short Sessions | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer
Baby Carson and his beautiful mama came to my house for a motherhood short session this March and it just solidified my love for motherhood sessions even more. I certainly didn't think that was even possible...
These sessions are exclusively for mama's and their babies.
Why should you consider a motherhood session at my home? Here are some reasons:
1.) You'll be so happy you have photographs of you and your baby because baby's don't keep, and how often are you in front of the lens? They are intimate, special and so sweet.
2.) I have a rack of dresses for you to choose from, so it takes the stress out of picking out an outfit!
3.) With that being said... you also don't have to clean up your home or worry about where we are going to shoot! Everything will be prepared and ready for you upon your arrival!
4.) Since I don't offer "mini sessions" this is the closest to a "mini" in that it's only 30-40 minutes long, more affordable, and the perfect treat to yourself.
So, how do you book? Visit my website http://www.elisemeaderphotography.com/contact-me/ and let's pick a date! <3
I'll leave you with this adorable duo...
The B Family | Massachusetts Lifestyle Family Photographer
Another fellow photographer contacted me to shoot her beautiful family. Always the best compliment... they drove 2 hours to meet me and they were filled with love and light. I just sat back and watched how they interacted, captured those smiles and hugs and I think the result is pretty special. Here's to your story... your family... and your happily ever after <3
Thank you for choosing me to tell a little piece of your story.
The H Family | Falmouth Beach Session | Massachusetts Family Photographer
I met this family when they were welcoming their sweet baby boy, Grey home.
He was just weeks old and his two older sisters were completely smitten. I sort of fell in love with these five right away. They were just SO natural and in the moment-- making my job easy as pie.
I was fortunate enough to capture a mama & me session for Krista and her babies back in February and loved everything about it. It was real, raw, natural and so much fun. She shared with me that they'd be moving to Texas in the summer and they wanted to plan one more family session, this time at the beach.
Man, have I been lucky to have captured some really beautiful moments in this family's life. They left Massachusetts with memories of the beach. With some salt in their hair and sand in their toes and they were off to a new adventure in their new home state of Texas. I wish them all the best, and I will forever be grateful that they came back to me two more times after that first session <3
Cheers to clients that leave a special place in your heart <3
The O Family | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer
Family sessions are really simple when families disregard the fact that they're being photographed and live IN the moment. I promise if you engage with your family, run, laugh, be silly and have fun, you'll get me at my best. And me at my best is when your gallery is FILLED with images like these <3
Love this family and cannot thank them enough for trusting me and my process... perfectly imperfect is perfect in my book.
Baby M | Massachusetts Maternity Photographer
Some of my very favorite sessions are maternity. Especially for new parents... there's something about the excitement in their eyes and love they share together that will soon overflow to a little being they've created. These beautiful people are expecting their first baby just next month. They've kept the sex a surprise and I'm 100% certain it will be the best surprise of their life. Congratulations to Jill and Mike. I cannot wait to meet your sweet little love <3
Liliana | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer
My sweet friend had her beautiful baby girl back in April and watching her smitten in love with her baby girl for an hour was simply the best. Congratulations Kate and Tony! Your family is to die for and I'm blessed to know you.
Blake | Four Month Sessions | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer
This blog post is really just a PSA. What public service announcement you ask? Let me share with you the beauty of a four month session. When you think "milestone" sessions, you think newborn, 6 month or (sitter) and first year. Somehow three, four and five months get lost in the mix and I swear to you they're my very favorites!
This is Blake at four months. She is bright eyed, chubby, interactive and seriously the sweetest most adorable little thing. It's the perfect time to capture the beauty of your scrumptious babe <3
They are eager to smile, grab their toes, interact with their mamas and family, and really just all around delicious.
So if you haven't seen a 4 month session before, and you're curious to all of my hype over them. Look no further... here's Blake, long live four month sessions- the essence of "baby."
3 month old Evelyn | Lifestyle Session
I think I need more three month sessions. Let me explain why. Their sweet smiles, their chub, their connection with their mama and dad, their fat thighs, their giggle, and their adorableness.
Lifestyle sessions with a 3-5 month baby is bliss. <3
The Madden Family | Massachusetts Lifestyle Family Photographer | Cape Cod, MA
This here is the Madden Family. This beautiful mama you see here is also a photographer, she is talented and wonderful and beautiful inside and out.
When I got the inquiry from her in regards to a family session I was of course, honored, I always am when another photographer trusts me to capture them creatively. And I was so excited because she's got three boys. Being a boy mom, I just connected with her almost instantly. We had some other crazy similarities and to be honest, I felt like we just hit it off from the start.
This family was TRULY wonderful. You could FEEL the love. We really just played the whole time... the boys found everything from crabs to eels, to frogs. They tossed rocks, ran around and did boy things. I was totally in my element capturing it all unfold.
I loved this gallery for so many reasons, but one of the biggest things that stood out to me was their connection and love for each other. Here is just a tiny bit of their childhood captured while their mom and dad take it all in. <3
Thank you Mel, for allowing me the honor to capture your sweet family. xo
Unposed Memories | Massachusetts Family Photographer
Before I photograph your family there a few things I think you should know. Consider this my *DISCLAIMER* :)
1.) I'm going to become your friend. For the hour or two that we are together, look at me as a friend. I'll laugh with you, play with your kids, joke around and run around like crazy capturing every little moment that's unfolding.
2.) I'm going to ask you to please disregard the fact that I am taking your picture. I don't want you to look at me and smile, unless asked, I want you to look at your family. I want you to focus on them. I want you to cuddle them, tickle them, dance with them, throw them around, walk, run, laugh and play. I want REAL. I want to capture YOUR memories. YOUR unique story. YOUR family dynamics. That's what I want.
3.) If you're not comfortable with the above mentioned, I'm most likely not the photographer for you. Anyone can request you to look at the camera and say "cheese"... some can do it a little better than others, yes, but that's not me. That's not my art. That's not my vision. My passion is moments that MOVE the viewer. I mean, emotionally. I look for emotive, genuine and true moments that are uniquely yours. If I can have that from you, I can promise you that your session will be like this one right here....
And with that, I give you this beautiful family. Who did exactly what I mentioned above. They let me be friends, they gave me artistic freedom. They let me "do my thing". And I find when I do what I love most, I love my work the most. I hope you see that, too <3
Mama & Me | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer
I recently shot one of these beautiful mama & me sessions for a very talented local photographer. Mary of Pebbles and Polka Dots has been on my radar since well before I even picked up a camera. She's got such a successful local business and I can't tell you what an honor it was to be asked to photograph her and her sweet babies. It was so nice to let her just be with her babes and capture it all.
Mary, you and your children are the sweetest and I hope you love these as much as I enjoyed shooting them <3

My 366 | Week 3
This past week I traveled to Las Vegas for a quick vacation with my husband! I didn't end up using my DSLR but 4 of my images from this past week were taken with my iPhone6 and edited with VSCOcam app. I was happy to capture these shots on my phone and eliminate the pressure of breaking out the big camera on my time off.
It was a good week :)

Here's our month in a blog!
Caleb | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer
My first sweet newborn of 2016 couldn't have been more squishy and sweet. He was welcomed home with so much love and joy. He's got a big brother who is already so excited and willing to help momma with the feedings and snuggles. It really melted my heart<3
I am so excited to document more newborns this year and really bright light to all the love that surrounds them.
Welcome, baby Caleb. You are loved.
Leighton | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer
Leighton. She's the third baby girl mom and dad have brought home. I had so much fun watching these sisters love on their new baby girl...
The difference between boys and girls is SO apparent when you bring a baby home. They were so excited to hold and cuddle her and were mommy's perfect little helpers. I enjoyed every minute of this lifestyle session <3
Here's a glimpse!
Landon Grey | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer
What's one of my all time favorite sessions? Lifestyle newborn of course...
I've deciided to step away from trying to pose fresh newbies and stick to capturing everything raw and real in their environment. After all, environmental images are some of my favorites and those moments, you can't beat it. I went into this session inspired and left even more inspired than when I walked in... that's a success. They were so beautiful, kind and so inviting. This family of four has a beautiful new addition to their family. Just another new chapter in their story together.
Meet Baby Landon<3

How do you blog a mini? Well I'm about to. This family was the essence of happy.
I've been striving for so long to just "capture moments" in family sessions. Not ask too much, and just let things unfold naturally. So many photographers that I admire emphasize the moments, and that's where I'd like to be. I'll keep climbing until I get there... Lord knows I've got a lot to learn. But this family right here was just effortless. They laughed, played, and cuddled and were totally IN the moment.
I wanted to blog this session to show you what being "in the moment" looks like. And how it makes the job so much easier for the photographer. All of my families I've worked with have been AMAZING. And I am thankful for each and every single one of them.
This family really nailed it. Thank you for making it fun and easy<3
