Lydia | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Sweet Lydia graced this beautiful family of four early this month and made this beauty a big sister! The last time I saw this adorable family was when Emme, now 2, was a newborn. So happy to be invited back into their home to capture all the snuggles saved up for their new baby girl. Congratulations Beth & Kyle!

Nico | Massachusetts Photographer | Lifestyle Motherhood Sessions

Sweet baby Nico and his momma Danielle were the sweetest way to break in my "in-home studio"  for 2018. I've always been an on-location photographer, traveling to my clients homes, meeting at common outdoor locations, and really capturing the essence of family and love in an environment my client is most comfortable. With the addition of a new sunroom in my Rutland home, I've decided to take a limited amount of motherhood sessions in my home. These lifestyle sessions emphasizing on connection and love will be offered throughout the year at a first come, first serve basis. For more information visit my website or send me an email! <3

The O Family | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer

Family sessions are really simple when families disregard the fact that they're being photographed and live IN the moment. I promise if you engage with your family, run, laugh, be silly and have fun, you'll get me at my best. And me at my best is when your gallery is FILLED with images like these <3

Love this family and cannot thank them enough for trusting me and my process... perfectly imperfect is perfect in my book.

Baby M | Massachusetts Maternity Photographer

Some of my very favorite sessions are maternity. Especially for new parents... there's something about the excitement in their eyes and love they share together that will soon overflow to a little being they've created. These beautiful people are expecting their first baby just next month. They've kept the sex a surprise and I'm 100% certain it will be the best surprise of their life. Congratulations to Jill and Mike. I cannot wait to meet your sweet little love <3

Liliana | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

My sweet friend had her beautiful baby girl back in April and watching her smitten in love with her baby girl for an hour was simply the best. Congratulations Kate and Tony! Your family is to die for and I'm blessed to know you.

Declan | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

I have been so behind in blogging and thought to myself, what better way to get back on the train then to share this sweet family? They welcomed their first son, Declan into their home just this past March. This little 6 week old session was the sweetest...

A Baby Story | Massachusetts Lifestyle Photographer

I was asked to witness this beautiful mama to be tell her husband that they will be expecting their first baby. I had a vision of my head of snuggles and warmth in the comfort of their home with a hand written letter to deliver to dad-to-be. When I tell you that this session came to life before my eyes, I mean every word of it. It was relaxed, real, raw and true and I am so excited to share it with you.

To these amazing parents-to-be, thank you for allowing me to capture this for you. I wish you both nothing but the best <3 xo

Caleb | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

My first sweet newborn of 2016 couldn't have been more squishy and sweet. He was welcomed home with so much love and joy. He's got a big brother who is already so excited and willing to help momma with the feedings and snuggles. It really melted my heart<3
I am so excited to document more newborns this year and really bright light to all the love that surrounds them.
Welcome, baby Caleb. You are loved.

Nicholas | Massachusetts Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Somebody pinch me. 2015 has been filled with so many blessings. To have the opportunity to come into people's homes and document their love between their new baby and one another is such an honor.

With that honor and responsibility it is my job to grow and get better. It's my job to fine-tune my craft and really give clients my all.
To do that, I have to follow my heart... I have to capture what I truly believe in. I have to allow myself time to be inspired and not let myself overthink. It's so easy to get caught up in what the photographer next door is putting out, how a client will interpret and view an image, or what poses and props are trending on Pinterest and Facebook. And above all, it's easy to doubt yourself as an artist. I'm choosing to look past those things in 2016. Instead, I'm going to focus on what I love and what inspires me.

So what IS important to me? Realness. I've fully committed the "lifestyle" approach to my newborn sessions. I want to document everything from deep sleep and smiles to crying and diaper changing. I want the good with the bad, the happy with the sad and all that's in between.
I want to give my clients a series of images that will bring them back years from now.

And when they're brought back, I want them to remember how tiny their baby was in their arms, how their little head smelled and how their soft skin felt against their lips. I want them to remember the swaddle blankets and the mess in the background, the jumping toddlers and the pure chaos when a new baby is brought home. With the chaos comes the calm. I want to document that too. Our lives are not perfect. It's the imperfections that make us all who we are. It's the imperfections that make things real.
I want to capture that. I love the imperfections. I am going to keep shooting what inspires me.

Thank you for a beautiful year and thank you for being my inspiration. I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store.

Central Massachusetts | Fresh 48 | St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester

Oh this family... they welcomed their third son into the world just over a week ago and my GOSH is he a dream boat. Mom and I spoke and we talked about capturing just the candid, raw, unposed moments during the first days of his life. There's nothing I enjoy more than just freezing happy moments in time. This family is beautiful inside and out and I hope they look back on these images and feel nothing but joy and love<3

Congratulations to this amazing family of 5.
